CONGREGATION TRANSITION COACHING
With the guidance of a coach, many congregations have developed new attitudes, assumptions and actions that have inspired their ministries. These services require significant amounts of human and financial resources beyond the reach of many small to midsize congregations.

Ridgeview Coaching’s Council Coach offers an accessible alternative. After an initial conversation with a representative of the congregation to clarify goals, we attend a regularly scheduled meeting of the congregation’s council or leadership team. After listening and observing the meeting, Ridgeview Coaching guides the team through a 45-minute coaching session that concludes with identified action steps and accountability partners. This one-time coaching session approach may be repeated as often as the client desires. No additional meetings. No additional volunteer teams to staff.

COUNCIL COACH PROCESS
1.
SCHEDULE
Church leader schedules a free 45-minute Welcome to Coaching Session.
2.
WELCOME
The church leader and Ridgeview Coaching discuss leader's hopes and expectations and how we can help. Questions and concerns addressed.
3.
AGREEMENT
Agreement for a Council Coach session is developed and signed including: location (in-person or virtual), date, fee and desired outcomes. Fee paid.
4.
COACHING
Ridgeview Coaching attends a regularly scheduled council meeting then leads a 45-minute coaching session.
5.
EVALUATION
Church leader meets with Ridgeview Coaching for 20-minute reflection on the session and next steps.
COUNCIL COACH FEES
The fee for a Council Coach session ranges from $250-$400 plus any needed travel expenses for in-person sessions. Virtual sessions are also available using the Zoom platform. The fee includes council meetings lasting between 60 and 90-minutes, a 45-minute team coaching session and a 20-minute one-on-one session with the church leader.
